Of Frogs and Roses
Usually Albion is used to refere to the whole Island, but correctly used it is the mainland area that is not Wales or Scotland. It is the name the Arcadians gave the area when they invaded some 1500 years ago, and it stuck through the later invasions of Irish, Anglo-Saxons, Bretons, Norse.and Normands.
The main areas (varies by whom you ask) is:
Irland (only a tiny colony)
The two small but special islands; Manx and Wight.
And the sole remaining city on the mainland Europe: Calais.
